What are your sources? What was your training?
I was born in San Giovanni Rotondo and I lived until the age of 18 years in Monte Sant'Angelo, in the province of Foggia. I received the scientific degree, and came of age, I started to drive to Puglia to play basketball. My first contract I signed in Monopoli in C2, then I went to San Severo in B amateur, amateur again Monopoly in C up to a year Francavilla. At the same time I studied and basketball activities are Ruscha degree in Economics and Management of Tourism at the University of Foggia.
Your childhood was significant in the development of your career as a basketball player?
I think the conditions of each child's personality development and hence the approach to life and sport, which is a small aspect of this. I come from a wealthy family: my father is an engineer, my mother is a doctor, but despite that we are a very close-knit family and a few crickets for the head. At 18 I made the choice to be independent away from home and went to play basketball and study, do not ask anything to the family. I take this opportunity to thank you for just my family, along with all the people who were and still are important in my growth process.
When did you start playing? Why did you choose basketball? Did you practice other sports?
I started playing basketball at the age of 6 years. The reason I chose basketball? Anyone who has ever played sports knows that this is like a drug, addictive and once you have tried hard to detach. I practice any other sports during the school years, including: football, volleyball, cross country, throwing the discus. But basketball has bewitched me and I could not get out.
How is your relationship with Soavegel? And with the city of Francavilla?
The relationship with the Soavegel is constantly evolving, but still good. The company is very ambitious, you can breathe so much passion in it and some errors of youth takes second place, because made for the burning desire to do well ahead. We hope to be as close as many people as possible to the company and the team. Sport is a school of life and values should be taught to everyone, especially younger people. Also for this reason I have not hesitated to accept the experience of mini-coach in two elementary schools when I was asked.
Too good to be with the children and try to teach concepts of basketball but also life, too good to learn from them as well. The relationship with Francavilla city, call it strange, however. We say that the city is as divided in two, between very genuine people (mostly middle-aged people) and people quite often exhibitionist and not too rich in values (especially the young and very young). I prefer the simplicity and genuineness, I like to not appear.
happy with the season? The results meet expectations?
At the moment I think this is my best season since I play for consistency performance.
I would be satisfied if even more satisfied with my teammates I could give the fans, to our leaders and ourselves the B amateurs. We expect the play off very hard and uncertain. We hope to emerge victorious, aided by the 'enthusiasm of the people. And 'necessary to get results.
Your dream?
In the very short term to win these playoffs with Soavegel. For the future, to return to my homeland and become a successful entrepreneur. I take this opportunity to salute my country, Monte Sant 'Angelo.
What would you do in life if I had not played basketball?
Surely I would have studied anyway to build a different future. I would definitely go out with my brother (a year younger) is already an engineer. Maybe I would have done the dietitian, who knows ...
ADD Want something else?
The championship wins it in the face of my Roma team-mate Archie Sarli (full doc) ... great Archangel. As a good Italian but I hope that Inter will win the Champions (also my friend Mariella beats me).
